FAQs

1. How do you define "conscious business owners"?

For me, conscious business owners are passionate people who live their life with awareness and care for the community and environment. It is a lifestyle of choice. They take courage to look deeper within, challenge the status quo, and find solutions that are beyond immediate convenience. They value transparency, sustainability, ethical practices, and healthy living. They are thoughtful in their approach to business and use it as a force for good.

2. What is the difference between a brand and a logo?

A logo is a symbol of your brand. While it is one of the most visible element, it is only a small portion of your brand.

On the other hand, a brand is a visual representation of what an experience with your company is like and it includes every single touchpoint your audience will have with you. As Seth Godin, a marketing guru, puts it succinctly: “Your logo is a referent, a symbol, a reminder of your brand. But your brand is a story, a set of emotions and expectations and a stand-in for how we think and feel about what you do."

3. Do you have a logo package? I just need a logo to get started!

As a brand designer, I strive to offer services that allow me to create a brand that captures the heart of your business. That means, creating a set of brand elements that delivers a one-of-a-kind brand experience - something a singular logo has a difficult time doing on its own. See FAQ #2 for differences between a brand and a logo.

4. Do you offer payment plans?

I offer payment plans for projects above USD 1,000 to make investing in your brand more manageable for you and to keep the project moving. Your first payment is a 20% non-refundable retainer so you can save your spot in my schedule. The rest of the payment will be spread out equally throughout the project.

For projects under USD 1,000, payment will be split 50:50 at the beginning and end of the project. All final deliverables will be handed over upon receipt of payment in full.

5. What is included in your Creative Strategy Document? Can I use the copy for my website or social media?

The Creative Strategy Document is a strateguc plan for your business to move forward and thrive. It is an articulation of your core values, audience, brand positioning and creative vision. You can use the copy at your discretion. However, the wordings are meant for internal document use. You may want to hire a copywriter if you need help with the copy for your brand voice. I am happy to recommend a copywriter who could take the branding we created and write a compelling brand story for you.

6. Do you also offer a website design package?

Unfortunately not at this time. We live in an online world and I agree that having a strong online presence is as important as having a great brand identity. If a web design service is something you are looking for, I'm happy to recommend a designer who could take the branding we create and deliver a stunning website for you.
